Happy Friday, y’all. We’re up and in our spots on the couch. Chaucer is pacing. I just tried to stop him from climbing over my clutter to get behind the couch. Tried. I was up a little early, but was able to doze. I had an awful time trying to fall asleep last night. My brain wouldn’t shut off. I wasn’t comfy. My nose was clogged just enough to make it difficult to breeze in the comfy positions. I felt like I was drooling. At one point, I had to reset my music. I should have put on a guided meditation or something. I don’t know how long it took to fall asleep, but it wasn’t a good night.
I sat down yesterday and finished Li’l Vest 2.0 when Shawshank left for work. Since I used hook and eye closures, it’s still reversible. I was wearing a proper bra when I worked on the dart placements, knowing it would be too small in the bust if I wore anything else. It looks silly without good boobs, and I’ve yet to actually try on the finished product with the aforementioned proper bra.
By the time I finished sewing, I decided I didn’t want to be social. I wasn’t feeling up to it. I loaded up Divinity: Original Sin 2 to get myself out of the pickle I was in. My grand plan to rescue my tank didn’t work out at all. Once I realized I couldn’t just pull him out, I was forced to actually finish the fight. It took at least another four attempts before I found a way to put my party in a good position. As an extra layer of difficulty, I did most of the fight with one less person in the party. Tank-Boy was too far away from the rest of the party to easily resurrect, and splitting up the remaining party would have put me at a disadvantage. In the end, it took an overwhelming number of totems, a giant spider, and a few charm spells and arrows to take everyone down.
Shawshank is working tonight, but has the weekend off. I’m going to assume my human form, maybe take some pics. If the apartment stays warm, I’d like to shoot in the living room. The light is nicer for pics.
