I hate those sneezes that won’t come out. They stick, painfully wedged into a space somewhere between your nose and some spot behind your eyeball. SPRING HAS ARRIVED.
Hello, world. It’s Thursday. The sun is out, it’s nice and sunny. That means nothing, because I don’t ever leave the fucking house. Both cats are sitting on the table by the back door. I’ve got my coffee beside me, which Shawshank keeps topping up for me.
We had a decent Wednesday, considering the weather was pretty icky. While the skies were mostly cloudy in TinyTown, the entire area was under severe thunderstorm warnings, with the occasional tornado alert. I’m pretty sure that something internet-y is down somewhere, because our upload speeds have been abysmal ever since.
I fired up Tiktok really early and tried to stream a “‘get ready with me”. This consisted of me sitting on the floor and struggling to apply my makeup with Pippin wanting to be snuggled or trying to sit on my shoulder. Hardly anyone interacted with me, but that was fine. There’s always the afternoon dopamine stream, right? RIGHT?
Nope.
My afternoon streams kept disconnecting. I tried for over an hour to keep a stream online. Tiktok wasn’t booting me. I’d start the stream, but then I would just see errors saying I was offline. But I wasn’t, I was using it just fine. Except it wasn’t uploading anything.
TikTok lists my morning stream info as being about 35 minutes. Unfortunately, according to the video I downloaded, the stream froze completely after about ten, and it looks like I was only streaming audio after that. I ran speed tests on both the wifi and my prepaid data, and it’s definitely the wifi.
Today is probably going to be more of the same, as I don’t have high hopes for getting a stream running today. I might start what I can on my dinosaur pants. Shawshank says we can go out for dinner. We’re hoping we can get into Tears of the Kingdom before bedtime.
