Good morning, world. We’ve hit Tuesday: not a Monday, but not quite the hump-ness of Wednesday. The sun is out this morning. There’s a bit of discrepancy in temps, with one site saying it’s 10° colder than another. We decided that was absolute bullshit. Some sensor out in the grass has a shitload of frost on it.
We did nothing productive yesterday. Shawshank made brunch, but that was pretty much it. It was delicious.
We took turns playing No Man’s Sky. For the moment, we’re around the same point in the main quest’s story, but on different planets. We’re both enjoying it. I’m very impressed he’s enjoying it as much as he is, because it seems like it could be a super “grindy” time sink. However, none of that tedious, grindy-gathering shit feels awkwardly tacked onto the general gameplay like a mini-game.
Shawshank‘s back to work today. His boss is back in town, and I imagine he can expect a full shift at work. The robot will come out and vacuum shortly after he leaves, and that’ll be my sign to assume a human form. His boss wants me to do something on the shop website this week, and I imagine I’ll have another meeting or two to get the details down before I can do what she wants. According to the weather forecast, we should expect sun all day, and I should have some good light for pictures after lunch.
