It is Saturday, correct?

Morning, y’all. Happy Saturday, greetings and salutations, etc, etc. All that fun shit. Today is shaping up to be a windy and gray day. That’s to be expected now and then, especially when we had another very colorful sunrise this morning.

Yesterday, we drove all over the place. Our first stop was Slightly BiggerTown, where we spent the majority of our time. We hit up an antique store, where I drooled over vintage tea kettles and sugar dispensers and Pyrex stuff. Our next stop was to the dispo for some carts, then out for lunch. After lunch and a failed visit to Slightly BiggerTown’s secondhand store, we hit the main reason for our trip: real shopping. We visited two shops in quick succession, grabbed our HDMI cable, and then bought groceries for the next week or so.

On our way back home, Shawshank offered to take me out on a side trip. We had planned this jaunt earlier in the week, but the weather was uncooperative. Since the house was on the way, we stopped to drop off the groceries, do bathroom things, and grab my poi. Shawshank drove us out to a scenic overlook to be a tourist while the weather was still warm enough.

Naturally, I did poi things at the top of the overlook. I hadn’t been outside to spin in about a week, and I miss getting regular spin time. I went outside for a little while last night as well, but I only lasted about 5 minutes. I need to find some warm, close-fitting stuff to wear so I can keep up with the spinning.

After dinner, HDMI cords in place, and after I forced him to watch me play Subnautica for an hour or two, Shawshank and I sat down for a co-op game on the Switch. After looking at a lot of reviews and suggestion lists, we settled on Cat Quest 2. We played that for a couple of hours

We don’t have anything planned for today, as far as I know/remember. Considering we did the typical Saturday chores yesterday, today’s agenda is clear. I’ll probably put clothes on to at least attempt to be a functioning adult.

It’s unbelievable. I look around on drives and think about how awesome it would be to see this all the time, and seriously have to remind myself I actually live in this world.
