Wand

Good morning, Thursday. I’m up.

That’s about it.

I’m ambivalent about the day. We’re going out and running errands. We have not one but two birthday parties this weekend, and we need to buy presents for old people.

I’m overjoyed, obviously.

Yesterday was nice enough for me to go outside. However, I had to have priorities. I spent the morning washing my bedroom floor and cleaning the bathroom. After lunch, I grabbed my poi and impulsively grabbed my leviwand. I don’t use it much because it’s more dance-y than the poi and I’m not a graceful creature.

The humidity kicked up quickly. Between being hot from moving around and the addition of a very big dark cloud that promised incoming rain, I went inside after about 30 minutes. I spent the rest of the afternoon painting. I started painting inside. The promised rain never showed up, and I moved everything outside when mom came home.
