Yet another morning.

Yet another morning.

Thursday morning, cat, coffee. The usual.

I successfully replaced the smoke detectors yesterday. I didn’t expect much trouble in the first place, it’s a ridiculously simple task. My only fear was being unable to screw in the brackets without power tools.

I’m pleased to announce that with sufficient anger to assist you, you can hammer a screw into a 6″ x 6″ wood column.

Aside from the smoke detectors, I helped out Shawshank with the final stages of the online catalog for work. I spent the morning seething over the garbage men opening up all of my trash bags again. This week, they also added a bonus yelling at each other about the fact I had thrown out an end table.

Today’s a semi-human day. I don’t need to leave the house. However, I have to wear clothes. The guy from the fire department is coming in to inspect my smoke detector installation skills. Between now and then, I need to become human, clean the cat boxes, and do the dishes.
