Is there a special name for the Monday before Christmas? I mean, there’s “black Friday” and “cyber Monday”, and “super Saturday” is becoming a thing. Whatever it is, today is it. Good morning.
There’s been some developments in the house. Someone on Saturday really liked it and put in an offer. The problem is, the type of loan they’re approved for (FHA loan) won’t cover a house with peeling paint. The paint on the ceilings in the entry and stairway are an absolute wreck. I can’t fix the paint; I don’t have the money. Our agent would prefer a buyer with a conventional mortgage that doesn’t come with strings. There are ways to try and get around the paint issues; however, she doesn’t want to take the house off the market while this buyer works on getting everything approved, only to have everything fall through in three weeks.
So…. yeah.
I almost want a Gofundme drive to paint my shit.
I’m in the last two weeks of work. I have four days this week, and four more next week. This week is also the last week I work with DayTech, and we’re both pretty broken up about it. She texted the other day to lament the fact she won’t have anyone to have inside jokes with. I feel like she won’t stay much longer after I leave. StressedRPh is much easier to deal with when you have someone else there with you.
The next two weeks are generally pretty laid back at work. We can wear jeans and festive “holiday accessories”. I baked cakes yesterday, two of THE CAKEs. One will go to DayTech and the other will be for general store consumption. I have enough ingredients to make one more, which I might bring to my sister’s house on Christmas day.
For now, I need to do makeup and dishes. Maybe brainstorm a way to pay for shit. Have a good Monday.
