Good morning, friends. It’s a quiet morning at home. A chickadee is hanging around the front window, taunting Podrick. Pippin is on the table in the back, probably curled into a perfect loaf. Shawshank is working today. I remember waking up before his alarm went off, when Pod walked up my body for cuddles. When he left, I reset what I was listening to, and promptly fell asleep again.

Shawshank had yesterday off. We used the morning to drive out to Slightly BiggerTown and do the bi-weekly shopping. The drive started out cloudy, but the skies cleared up pretty quickly and it turned into a very nice day. Harvest is starting, and there were a lot of cows enjoying the last of summer. We battled some road construction in Slightly BiggerTown, eventually grabbed groceries, then made our way over to the dispo. I grabbed a bag of herb that will last for the next month or so. Shawshank bought a vape cart and talked about edibles with the budtender, happily picking up a bag of sugar free gummies for his mom. We stopped for lunch, drove home, and became sloths.

Since he’s working this morning, I’m going to do my Saturday #GRWM on TikTok. Later, we’re going up to the secondhand shop, because my keen sense of home decor said You know what The Flat needs? A big portrait of THE FECKING QUEEN.
