Hello, world. I woke up sometime in the wee hours, rearranged myself, and went back to sleep. Podrick comes up sometime later, when there is more light, for a quick snuggle before going back to doing his thing. I watched the rain fall outside the bedroom window and dozed until dozing was no longer an option.
We had a nice, slow Sunday. Shawshank made us brunch and dealt with laundry. I made french toast for us, cutting mine in strips and dipping it in a little cup of syrup. We watched an episode of two of “Grey’s Anatomy“, then went out to Shady Acres in the afternoon. I played Civ while we were there, starting a random game. I tend to do ok up until about 1400AD, when everything starts to fall apart. I don’t need to go to war and take over other civs, I just wanna build cities and shit.
We have a bunch of packages coming this week. My big Amazon order has been split into three different shipments, which means some earbuds will arrive today(ish), a cable is slated to show up this week, and the laptop won’t get here until next week. My last Temu order should be here today, bringing me some craft things and a new power cord hub. I bought a small embroidery kit to do on stream. I’ll need to work on it, because I told my mother-in-law about it. She’ll expect to see a finished project.
I don’t know what I’m going to do today. Maybe I’ll make some practice crafts.
