Compared to the rest of this week, I relaxed yesterday. I decided to pull the trigger on the laptop, after weighing the mental options involved. There were only two options, really. On one hand, if I don’t spend the money, I don’t make money anymore, continuing my “why can’t I just be a productive adult contributing to my household” depression spiral. On the other hand, I could spend the money, be anxious about spending money, but still have the ability to make money. When faced with the choice of dropping $500CAD on refurbed laptop or a doom spiral, I’ll take the laptop.
Decision made, spiral abated.
Since we have the weekend off, it’s a shopping weekend. We’re going out to Slightly BiggerTown for groceries, and maybe to see about putting me on his phone plan.
