gsw with a gcs 5

Hello, world. Both cats are quiet, and it’s a bit like having toddlers in the house. On one hand, they’re being blissfully quiet. On the other hand, we don’t know for certain whether one has eaten the other.

I went ahead with the plan to dye my hair yesterday afternoon. I opted for blue this time, leaving some pink in the front (which turns purplish when I rinse the blue). I’m still on the fence about cutting it myself. I could, but I don’t have any decent scissors. When I sew, I use a rotary blade to cut most of my fabric, or the kitchen sheers for more fiddly shapes. I’m not a professional, but even I know that’s probably not the best idea.

Aside from the dye, I spent a couple of hours finishing up the first season of ER. I haven’t watched the whole series since it aired, and it’s fun to watch it straight through from the beginning. It’s actually more fun now, after spending a third of my life working in the pharmacy and having more medical knowledge.

Watching at 19 vs. 49 is completely different. I’ve grown up enough to know that none of these people are good partners. In college, when we’d gather around the TV in the common room on Thursday nights to watch, half the students would be talking about how hot Dr. Ross is, or “hear me out: Dr. Greene”. Now? I’ll hang with Haleh and Jerry.

The week rumbles on. Tonight is another shift. Hopefully I can make some good money, or even ok money, this month has been ridiculous.
