Good morning, world. It’s a bright, shiny, new day. Alas, the sun isn’t up, and it’s neither bright, nor shiny yet. Podrick woke me early. He wanted cuddles, but didn’t want to lay down, so I ignored him to go back to sleep. I was slightly successful, and I dozed until Pod started to truly wake up. I put him in the hallway, hoping he’d find something to amuse himself, reset a sleep video, and hoped for something more than dozing.
We both had long days yesterday. Shawshank got to be the voice of reason/adult in the room during his shift last night. In an effort to have a better week than last, I tried to be more of a hoe when I got on cam. I’m quite bad at it, but they tell me it will get better if I keep trying. Someone told me I’m hot, and I was nice, but I don’t ask people any questions. Sir, I don’t do small talk; I have no questions for you because I simply don’t care. On the other hand, I did a cam-to-cam with a guy who gave me a thumbs up when he finished.
I’ll be back at it tonight. I’ve finally gotten into a decent groove with the new setup process, so it doesn’t take quite as long. I might tweak camera positioning this afternoon. We have tomorrow off, so we’ll make tonight count.
