a moonlight slaughter, without the moonlight

a moonlight slaughter, without the moonlight

Good morning, people. It’s Monday, and it’s off to a ✨wonderful✨ start today with Sir Podrick the Hefty deciding he needed to be on my shelf this morning. He kicked off the festivities by wedging himself into a pile of genie pants, before moving on to knocking down a light, pulling at cords, and generally fucking with everything. Mind you, this is in addition to my normal morning bullshit where I wake before I need to, because my body hates me.

Yesterday was a very typical Sunday since Shawshank had the day off. He made us brunch and puttered through laundry and tidying. After brunch, he played a couple of hours of Red Dead Redemption to fill the time before we went out to Shady Acres.

I got to take a turn playing while we were out. I made a mistake going into a town to save, which started my playtime with some frustration. In my defense, I thought I could avoid a cut scene, if I avoided the quest “X”. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. As soon as I entered the town – mind you, through an entry without the “X” – I was “killing peasants”.

Under normal circumstances I probably wouldn’t have cared, since I watched Shawshank run through these same tests only a day or two earlier. But I entered town right at sunset, which meant that after the cut scene, my next three gunplay “objectives” had to be done in the dark. Things were fine… until I had to take out three bandits, killing the leader before he could kill the hostage. After about 10 tries, I passed the Switch over to Shawshank and asked him to please do it for me, because I was getting too frustrated. It took him a couple of tries as well, but he did it for me. I played for a little while when we came home, then he played some more.

Today is the start of a new week. Shawshank is working a full 5-day workweek, so I’ll be doing Chaturbate things as well. He removed the curtain from the bedroom window because Pod kept trying to pull it down, and I’ll have an absolute shitload of light as a result when I start my “shift”. I’ll probably spend the first couple of “warm-up” hours scheduling drops on Fansly.
