It’s Tuesday morning, y’all. It’s been a morning, Podrick has been ORANGE™ since about 6am, before we even left the bedroom. There’s also inclement weather in the cards for us today, I can see something falling from the cloudy skies, but it’s not quite light enough to tell if it’s liquid or frozen. No matter, I have a snuggly orange boy in my lap.
Since Shawshank worked through the weekend, yesterday ran on a Sunday schedule. Chores were involved. Shawshank put on a couple of “Factorio” videos and made a delicious brunch for us, then baked a cake. He vacuumed the living room, then brought half the cake and the vacuum back to his parents’ house.
Update: it’s flurries, not rain.
It was interesting to watch someone play “Factorio” and make big factories and not constantly chase down bottlenecks and item shortages. As a Switch player, my access to blueprints is ridiculously limited, and I’m trying to build things myself. I’m not having much luck.
We have one goal today: we’re going to the secondhand shop. This is the first day in over a month that Shawshank‘s work schedule and the shop’s business hours have actually meshed. It will be nice to get out for a little bit.
