Hello, world. It’s a dark Monday out there this morning. Podrick woke up Shawshank early, and we’re enjoying coffee on the couch. I can hear some sort of large vehicle outside. Maybe a plow? Doubtful. Who knows?
Our Sunday was nice. We left home just before the scheduled power outage and drove out to Slightly BiggerTown to shop. Our first stop was the grocery store, which wasn’t too bad. It’s nice to shop there on Sundays, it seems less crowded. The next two stops were the hardware and discount stores. Shawshank bought new winter gloves for work, and a new bird feeder. I bought a pack of balloons and two tank tops. We drove across town for lunch and weed, then headed back home.
The power was still off when we returned, as expected. We ate lunch, then cleaned out and organized our pantry. I played “Factorio” on the Switch for an hour or so, then the power came back. I docked the console and continued to play on the TV until dinner time.
But, the weekend is over, and we’re both back to work today.
