Good morning. It’s dark; we’re up early because Shawshank is working the Sunday shift. Podrick woke me up around 6am. I let him suck my thumb for a little while, and then we snuggled.
Our Saturday was typical. Shawshank worked. When he left the house, I set up the bedroom and lights. It was slow in terms of money, but I almost always had a lot of friendly chatter happening. I impressed one guy when I knew what the Heisman Trophy was, and another with my knowledge of art and science. I finished reading the short story I started on Friday night. I remember finding it an incredibly hot story 25 years ago. Reading it now, half a lifetime of marriage and experience later, it really wasn’t. By the end of the night, I gained 45 new followers and made $10.
Shawshank is working the full day. I’m taking the day off and playing on TikTok.
