Hello, world. We’re up and awake and enjoying our coffee. The sun has returned, and Pippin is enjoying her seat at the back door. Podrick is doing orange things.
We had a nice Saturday. I put on makeup and we headed out to Slightly BiggerTown and shopping. There were clouds, but nothing that tipped us into the realm of “overcast”. We saw a lot of cows, and a lot of bales.
Slightly BiggerTown was uneventful, as expected. To be honest, if we had an eventful visit to Slightly BiggerTown, you can bet the shit hit the fan in some way. We picked up most everything we needed in the grocery store, then hit the pharmacy and a couple of discount stores for a few non-food things on our list. Our next stop was the dispo, where I entered their monthly raffle for leaving them a Google review. We all laughed over me filling out the raffle ticket with my Google screen name. I have a 30% chance of winning a gift basket. The final stop was to pick up lunch before heading home.
We stopped on the way home to take some pics.
Once most of the groceries were put away, we settled on the couch with our sandwiches and Youtube. When I finished my sandwich, I grabbed a pillow and napped. Shawshank made a quick run up to his store and grabbed a pizza for dinner once I woke up.
Today is Sunday, which means brunch and then dinner at Shady Acres. Shawshank has been tasked with weed whacking this afternoon, and there have been rumblings about picking apples.
