Good morning, y’all. It’s a gray Tuesday. The cats are doing cat things. I want the coffee to make me feel human (but not too much).
We enjoyed our Monday at home. Shawshank puttered, and we had brunch. The cats did cat things. Podrick decided Shawshank‘s hands are acceptable, so Shawshank was the recipient of some primo palm snuffling. We had a shitload of tiny birds in the yard; the pines in the front are attracting all the finches and sparrows.
I mostly read the subreddits dedicated to dispensing advice to other spicy content creators. I swear to God, there must be a recent viral clip or two out there making people think selling feet pics, socks, and panties is fast, easy money. There has been a huge influx of people posting about how they just set up their account, now what? They don’t want to search for info. They want to be told what to do. It feels like nearly every single one of these creators comes in, reads the rules that say “no basic questions asking how to start” and thinks that doesn’t apply to them. Then they make a post saying something like “I’ve searched, but I didn’t find anything that applied to me….” Girl, you didn’t search for shit, because there are literally 3 other posts – with answers – asking the same exact thing.
One of the vets made a post last night saying “if you can’t do the basic research that comes with this job, you shouldn’t be doing this job“. I could not agree more. There have been times where we can tell they have done some research and need something clarified or expanded on. More often than not, they come in, admit they didn’t search, and expect to be spoonfed a step-by-step list of directions on how to make bank by selling feet pics, while never showing their face or nudity.
They also like to argue with people, especially when they get answers they don’t like, or think are wrong. Five people telling them “this is not a business where you’ll get rich fast” means nothing because one person on TikTok told them they do nothing but post pics of the top of their feet and guys will pay them for existing. Another creator replied to one of these newbies the other night. “Yes, they want to see me wearing these high heels,” she wrote, “but they usually want my feet over my head”.
Literally, while I’ve been typing this, one more post has been made saying they’ve just made an account and have no idea what to do now.
