Hello, world. Welcome to the new week. It’s gray, and cooler, and I was awake early with the kitten, snuggling and reading Reddit posts. We all relaxed for a little while in bed, and I made a couple of attempts to go back to sleep. Podrick decided to play paratrooper, climbing the wall tapestry behind the bed and dropping 3′ down onto Shawshank‘s head. Time to feed the monster.
I spent yesterday afternoon streaming on TikTok. Surprisingly, it wasn’t bad at all. There was a crowd the entire time, which never happens. Typically, I have about 5 watchers, but I seemed to hover around 35 yesterday. Most of them were good. It was definitely profitable, as someone found the hot links and spent $25 in the afternoon and another $10(?) this morning. Pod and Pippin slept through 90% of the stream. Towards the end of the stream, Podrick woke up and launched his typical snuggle attack. After he looked cute for the 15 people watching, we logged off so I could feed him.
Shawshank worked the full day. I was in charge of dinner, so we had chicken sandwiches and fries. They were delicious. We watched silly videos and played our games. He won three runs in Balatro. I didn’t.
The first load of laundry is already in the washer. We’re planning to have brunch, and we’ll probably play some games.
