Good morning, y’all. I had another comfy night, and a cuddly morning with the small one. He curled up against me, snuffling at me for a while before he fell asleep again.

I snagged “Nier: Automata” on the Switch yesterday. It came out some time after I’d bought the system, and it’s been on my wishlist off and on for nearly 3 years now. I thought it looked gorgeous, so I added it to the wishlist; it looks like I might need too much coordination and reflexes, so I removed it. But…. it’s a big pretty world! so it went back on the list. The wait paid off- yesterday, it went on sale for its lowest price ever. Shawshank and I watched a review and the game play for the first 30 minutes or so. I bit the bullet and paid the $16, washed my filthy makeup brushes, and went outside to enjoy the sunshine.

By the time I was too warm out there, it finished downloading. At 3:17pm, I texted Shawshank to ask if he wanted me to hold off on starting the game until he could watch, or if I could start. With his blessing, I fired up the game.

And by 3:35pm, I was already dead.

I restarted. I restarted again, this time on easy mode. Sorry, I can’t aim worth shit. If I have the choice of not aiming or having a floating robot hovering around me but not actually doing anything because I can’t handle controlling two things at once… Well, I’m going to go with the option that lets the floater indiscriminately open fire on hostiles.

Also, I fished up a tire.

The forecast for today is just as warm as yesterday, with a chance of thunderstorms. I think I’m going to take some pics stream.
