Hello, world. It’s morning, and we’re all up and about. Podrick has been mostly good. He was quiet all morning, but now that everyone’s out of bed, he wants to play.
We had a nice Saturday. I was dressed and ready to leave the house earlier than normal. Yesterday was Tinytown’s annual town yard sale. We walked some of it, and drove some of it. I scored some ridiculous Velcro sneakers with a hidden heel, brand new waterproof earbuds, some sponge curlers, a complete sheet set, and a toy for the cats. I’m pretty sure the earbuds were never used, because one wouldn’t sit properly in the charging case and seemed broken until I finagled it a bit. We also grabbed some new coffee mugs. On the way home, we stopped and supported a local fundraiser selling lunch.
The rest of the day was relaxing. I played some Balatro while Shawshank built a Lego house. I’m really struggling with red stakes on the Anaglyph deck, but I came a bit closer to beating it yesterday. Pippin and Podrick investigated all the treasures we brought home. Shawshank lifted the couch and I used a spoon to scoop all the cat toys out from under it. Everyone is happy with new toys. We capped off the day with some pork chops and curry and noodles, Shawshank sent me to take a bath, and then we watched “Jaws”.
Today, we’re doing the Sunday things. Shawshank‘s got the first load in the washer, and he’ll make us a fabulous brunch. In the afternoon, we’ll go over to Shady Acres.
