This is my life now.
Good morning, world. The fam is awake and out of bed. Podrick jumped up around 7am. I thought he was going to start a tussle, but he quickly settled into a spot against my chest with a finger in his mouth. That’s how we laid for about 45 minutes.
Of course now, it’s a whole different story. I just looked over to the cat tree to see Pod patting Pippin‘s head in an almost sarcastic manner. He successfully landed several thwaps before she grabbed him around the neck, pulled him off the platform his was on, and dropped him on the floor.
Yesterday was pretty laid back. I spent about an hour messing with Audrey™’s graphs. This was my first foray into a graph with two scales. I feel fucking fancy now. Once the graphs were taken care of, I dealt with some data entry.
I’m pretty sure I was blessed with a FYP “boost” recently. According to the devs that participate in the creator subreddits, if your account is getting decent engagement, your FYP content can see a boost in views. Starting around May 10th, pretty much everything I’ve posted to the FYP from April 12th on received about 100 extra views in a 2-3 period. Weirdly, once the effect of the boost “wore off”, those clips received no views at all for about 36 hours. It’s as though the boost is a gift from the money’s law – you get slammed with a bunch of views, but your account will be invisible for a day or two after that.
Shawshank has today off, and we’re going out to Slightly BiggerTown to do some shopping. The weather is shit, but it will still be nice to get out of the house.
