intriguing

Good morning, world. We’ve been graced with barely sunshine. It’s mostly overcast, but there’s just enough sun coming through to make me unrealistically hopeful for actual sunshine. Pipping saw birds on the patio yesterday, and so she’s waiting for more today.

Yesterday was a clown day. I’m getting much better at applying the white foundation, and didn’t need to wipe it off and start over at any point. I had no set plan, only that I was going to be doing clown makeup and being my particular brand of “this better not awaken anything in me” sexy on Clapper. Before I started, I picked out all my slightly clowny clothes, and ended up in some neon fishnets, black bustier and boy shorts, and a rave kimono. I set up “shop” in the corner of the living room like a photo shoot, adding extra pillows behind everything so I could lean while I played “Balatro” on the Switch. My only real problem was lighting. I wanted to use the black lights, and none of my cords reached quite far enough.

The only person who chatted with me was a guy who found my look intriguing. “You’re like an 80’s hair band geisha hooker”. In the grand scheme of things, I’ve been called worse while streaming. That’s pretty damned tame, honestly.

This was just an experiment, as I’ve been wanting to dip my toes back in the “trained smutmonkey” waters. Unlike 20+ years ago when I was on iFriends, and everything was pay-per-minute private shows, these days people can tip and expect a menu of things they can see. Clapper, while not an outright porn site, is sort of like a “lite” version of OF or Fansly. The Venn diagram of users on both is probably a circle.

By the end of the night, I was still comfy in my spot, so I left my mess set up so I could do the same thing tonight. I think I’m going to make an attempt to figure out Fansly’s streaming, and whether or not that will work with the tech we have. Unlike OnlyFans, which lets me stream directly from the website, I need to use something like OBS to stream on Fansly. I have an idea of how it works, and I think I have everything I need, but it’s just a matter of trying it. Making that first leap is always the hardest part.
