Good morning, y’all. The weekend is winding down once more. Thankfully, we have coffee and cats and all that comes with those things. The tiniest snowflakes are falling; we can expect snow for the next couple of days, according to the forecast.

Here’s more cow pictures from yesterday. I tried to lure this curious little red fellow over to me. He came pretty close, until his mother came over and took him away. She proceeded to herd him over to the complete opposite side of the pen, with all the other cows between us, like I was a terrible influence on her baby.

After yesterday’s excitement, we headed out to do the weekly shopping. As we initially prepared to leave the house, Shawshank pointed out he had my debit card in his pocket already. In my brain, that meant I could leave my whole purse at home. It wasn’t until we made it to Slightly BiggerTown that I realized my mistake. Doing so meant I had no license on me, and couldn’t go into the dispo to drool over fancy glassware. It worked out in the end, Shawshank ran in and picked up some of the forbidden spinach to keep us in green for a while.

Once we were back at the house, Shawshank loaded up Breath of The Wild again. He had only been playing for about 20 minutes when his dad called to let us know about the calves. He played for a few hours, then we switched places and I played for a bit. We’ve both advanced the main quest line to about the same spot. However, because of the open world style of the game, we’ve opened up completely different areas of the map. We point out things the other one may have missed, remind each other to heal and eat, and try to help keep on task.

Today is laundry and chore day. I need to get dressed and be human, since we’re going out to Shady Acres. There’s been some talk about bringing the Switch over again, this time to show his dad Breath of The Wild. Mostly, we’re going to be chillaxing.
