I feel slightly accomplished this weekend. For starters, I cleaned up the kitchen. Sure, I messed it up again shortly thereafter. However, the fact that I did it in the first place was a step in a positive direction.

It’s another Monday. I can’t bring myself to adjust the alarm clock. I’ve been up since 5:30am, when my phone started blasting the opening chants of “The Circle of Life” from The Lion King. I slammed back a coffee, applied for a replacement social security card because I might need it, and did a workout.…
